Legal information
Terms and Conditions
These terms explain the general use of this website and how project documents work together. Project-specific scope, price and the exact payment schedule are set out in the accepted quotation and relevant project documents.
Website use
This website provides general information about website design, redesign, landing page and maintenance services.
Content is provided for guidance only and may change without notice. Final business, pricing and service terms are supplied in a project quotation and agreement.
Quotations and project scope
Any quotation should set out the agreed pages, functionality, content responsibilities, timescales, payment schedule and launch requirements.
Work outside the agreed scope may need a separate quotation or written approval before it is started.
Business and consumer projects
These website terms and the standard project terms are primarily written for clients acting for business purposes.
If a client is an individual consumer, or may be acting as a consumer, Vincere Web Solutions must use the separate consumer project process before quotation acceptance or project start. That process covers client classification, consumer pre-contract information, cancellation information, a cancellation form, any express-start acknowledgement and durable confirmation.
Consumer projects must not start until the required consumer records have been provided, reviewed and saved. Nothing on this website or in the business-client terms excludes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The consumer information and cancellation form are available on the Consumer Project Information page.
Payment schedules
The accepted quotation forms part of the agreement and sets out the precise payment schedule for the project. Any payment timings, milestones, percentages, amounts or due dates stated in the accepted quotation take priority over general payment examples or default schedules shown on the website, proposal or these terms.
Your accepted quotation sets out the precise payment schedule for your project. Standard website projects are usually quoted on a 50/50 basis, and e-commerce projects are usually quoted on a 40/30/30 basis. Where a quotation states a different schedule, milestone, amount or due date, the accepted quotation takes priority for that project.
Approved scope changes, optional extras and variations follow the payment schedule stated in the accepted quotation or approved written variation.
Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, email, payment processing, booking software, premium applications, stock media and advertising are separate unless the accepted quotation expressly includes them.
Launch, transfer, domain connection or release of final production files may be withheld until the payment stage required by the accepted quotation has cleared and the agreed launch approval has been received.
Optional extras and changes
Additional standard e-commerce product entry, website copywriting and logo design have defined minimum scope, revision limits, dependencies and exclusions under Commercial Extras Specification v1.0. The accepted quotation confirms the final price or unit calculation before work begins.
A from-price is a starting point only. Accepted quotations for copywriting or logo design should show a fixed project price or a transparent agreed calculation, not only the public headline price.
Identify the request outside the accepted scope. Explain why it is outside scope. Explain the price, timing and dependency effect. Provide a written variation or revised quotation. Obtain written approval from an authorised client contact. Record the approver, date, amount and accepted scope version. Resume work only after approval and any required payment stage. Itemise the approved variation on the invoice.
Client responsibilities
Clients are usually responsible for supplying accurate business information, approvals, images, access details and legal copy unless agreed otherwise.
Clients should ensure they have the right to use any content, images, trademarks or third-party materials supplied for the project.
Recurring services
Care plans, SEO Growth support, Domain management and Emergency support have a published service summary. The accepted service schedule confirms the selected service, price, term, scope, allowance, support route and client-specific technical dependencies.
The document order is: accepted quotation or order form; service-specific schedule; Standard Terms and Conditions; data-processing terms where applicable; published service description; then general marketing copy.
Launch and third-party services
Domains, hosting, email, payment providers, analytics, forms and other third-party services may have separate supplier terms. Project documents identify what is included and which costs are separate.
Liability and legal review
Nothing on this website removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer, regulated, international or complex online-shop work may need additional project-specific terms before work starts.
For a project copy of the Standard Terms and Conditions, contact Vincere Web Solutions before accepting a quotation.
